"So… I just finished reading Aaron Dembski Bowden’s Night Lords trilogy, and I truly regret not reading it before doing any of my Night Lords related artwork.
It is now hands-down my favourite Black Library literature to date (I enjoyed the style more than Simon Spurrier’s and Dan Abnett’s). I’m probably biased given the subject matter, but the storytelling is magnificent.
I also found it especially poignant since I read it during my military reservist training. The feels. That ending…GAHHHHH”

The Night Lords trilogy is indeed well worth picking up!

Maybe a bit of an odd post, but just a quick announcement that Imperial Armour volume four - the Anphelion Project (second edition) is now on sale over at Forge World.

I’ve always been a big fan of the Imperial Armour books, especially from the third one onwards, when it became less of a vehicle splatbook and more a detailed campaign book with unique army lists and scenarios.

The fourth book in particular, detailing the horrors of Beta Anphelion IV, have done a lot to inspire me hobby-wise, even going so far as finally giving me an excuse to start a small army of Elysians using the D-99 list.

Also, this one I do know, the artist responsible for the Elysian guardsman, in fact a lot of the Forge World Imperial Guard art that graces the pages of these books is Karl Kopinski.

I just found out that there are almost eleven-hundred (just four short) of you following and watching this, just wanted to say thanks to you all. Won’t be long now until the Administratum decides I’m too powerful and grants me a Warrant of Trade. ;)
Or the Inquisition comes a-knockin’.. Yikes.
Also, it’s (finally) 7th edition art time. After that, something green and really, really mean. And after that, who knows?
